My Story
In my 5th-grade classroom, I made up my mind to become a lawyer. My inspiration came from my uncle, a criminal lawyer, and my deep desire to contribute to society through this profession.
Hailing from Ludhiana, known as Punjab's smart city in India, I officially joined the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in 2019. My journey in the legal field began as an independent legal researcher, and soon I took on a role as an Assistant Advocate at Ludhiana District Court.
Witnessing people struggle due to financial constraints pushed me to offer free legal aid to those in need. The satisfaction of assisting and guiding people intellectually is unparalleled. My future ambition is set on becoming a Barrister and Solicitor in Canada by acing the NCA exams, all with the goal of making positive societal contributions.
Today, I proudly serve as a legal technician at Sark Immigration Inc, based in Edmonton, Canada.
Being a lawyer, I feel immense pride in representing individuals, raising awareness about their legal rights, and helping them secure justice. To me, it's a lawyer's responsibility to ensure access to justice, and embracing ADR and Pro bono work is a true reflection of legal professionalism.
